Let's chase new adventures
The Scottish Highlands
It's true, the Scottish Highlands are exactly how you picture Scotland to be. This is the ideal setting for your next adventure, thanks to its friendly locals, distinct culture, breathtaking scenery, charming castles, and rich history. It's easy to see why National Geographic picked it as one of the 2023 "Best of the World" places.
The Highlands have a reputation as a picturesque region of Scotland. Considering the breathtaking unspoiled environment of the area, with its rocky mountains, deep blue lochs, and deserted glens where regal Red Deer roam the hills and Eagles soar overhead, this is not at all surprising. The mysterious air of the Highlands can be attributed in part to the region's rapid and unpredictable weather patterns. The hills are there one minute and gone the next. The snow-capped mountains in the winter provide a dazzling touch to the already beautiful landscape of the Highlands, where sunny spells and gloomy shadows alternate over the landscape.

Oh, The Places We'll Go!
Here are just some sights and treks that you will come across during the road trip. The full itinerary will be given to confirmed participants.
The Jurassic Coast
The Jurassic Coast stretches for miles along the coasts of Dorset and Devon in southern England. Because of the exceptional rocks, fossils, and landforms found there, it has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Millions of tourists from all over the world flock to see the Jurassic Coast every year, making it one of Britain's top tourist attractions. It would take a lifetime to uncover all of its mysteries and treasures, but your senses will be rewarded with an immediate sense of the place's special history and personality the moment you set eyes on it. The Jurassic Coast is where geology is the main attraction. It is the only location on our planet where you can see rocks from the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods all together, spanning 185 million years of Earth's history. |
Cornwall Cornwall is 92 percent rural, and it's not hard to see why: it has beautiful beaches, hidden gems, and unspoiled countryside. From Bude to Land's End, there is a wide variety of landscapes and beaches to enjoy along the coast. If you're looking for hikes in Cornwall, you can't miss the coastal walks, where you can see wildlife, experience different microclimates, and even stumble upon a historic engine house. Cornwall's coast offers a wide variety of walks, from strenuous treks to easy strolls. Don't miss the chance to see marine life like seals, dolphins, and birds. |
White Cliffs of Dover The White Cliffs of Dover are an iconic sight, the white chalk face a symbol of home and wartime defense, but they have so much more to offer: breathtaking vistas, a tranquil walk, animals, history, and two tea houses serving wonderful delicacies. Dover's White Cliffs offer ever-changing views. When it's sunny and the sea is quiet, you can stroll across the cliffs and take in the breathtaking views across the channel. On the clearest days, you can even see the buildings in France. |
The road goes on forever, and the party never ends
Bath
Bath, the only English city to be designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a gorgeous town filled with history. On the surrounding hills are artifacts from the Bronze and Iron Ages. Two of Jane Austen's novels are set in Bath, where she lived and wrote. At the Jane Austen Centre, you can find out more about Austen and her characters, whose stories provide a great deal of historical insight into Regency Bath life. As well as visiting Austen's house, you can also see some sites from her novels. Bath's cobblestone streets are a great way to soak up its impressive history |
Glencoe
A deep valley and towering mountains of Glen Coe were carved out centuries ago by icy glaciers and volcanic explosions in the Lochaber Geopark in the Highlands. It has even been featured in film, including Skyfall and several Harry Potter movies. A series of hikes is on the agenda for our stay here, including Ben Navis, the highest mountain in Scotland and the United Kingdom |
Isle of Skye Known in Old Norse as 'cloud island,' the Isle of Skye is the second-largest of all the Scottish islands, and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful. It has drawn tourists in for centuries with its moors, jagged peaks, deep lochs, and sea cliffs, and today it is Scotland's most popular tourist destination after Edinburgh. You can expect to hike the best trails on the Isle of Skye on these days, such as the Neist Point Trail, The Quiraing, and Old Man of Storr. |
There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind
Grampians
The Grampian Mountains, Am Monadh in Gaelic, are one of the three major mountain ranges in Scotland. They are located between the Highland Boundary Fault and the Great Glen. Grampian Mountains covers nearly half of Scotland's land area and encompasses the Cairngorms and the two highest mountains in the United Kingdom, Ben Nevis (1,345m) in Fort William and Ben Macdui (1,309m) here in the Cairngorms National Park. Get ready for a full day hike up Ben MacDui overlooking Loch Avon today. |
Inverness Natural landscapes, quaint towns, medieval ruins, and prehistoric sites draw visitors to Inverness from around the world. Nature lovers will love exploring the Scottish Highlands' vast landscape, which is located in the Highlands. Numerous hiking and cycling trails run along the canals, lakes, and forests. We will visit the Glenfinnan Viaduct, a renowned feat of Victorian engineering and the longest concrete railway bridge in Scotland. It was made famous by the Harry Potter films as the ‘Hogwarts Express’ |
Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland since the 15th century, and the seat of the Scottish Parliament since 1999, is a picturesque city known for its medieval Old Town and elegant Georgian New Town, both of which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Additionally, the city is home to a number of national institutions, such as the Scottish National Gallery, as well as a number of historical and cultural attractions, making it the country's second most visited tourist destination, attracting annually over 4 million visitors, including over 2 million foreign tourists. |
