Why Lemosho route?
Why January - February?
- Beauty, remoteness and success rate
- With an 8-day trek, allows ample acclimatization time (the number one factor in summit success)
- Far less crowded than the Machame or Marangu Kilimanjaro routes
- Breathtaking scenery on the trail
- Visit to Lava Tower
Why January - February?
- Tanzania does not have the usual four seasons - but predominantly the wet and dry seasons.
- The best time to climb Kilimanjaro is during the dry season in the months of January, February, July, August, September, October.
- The rainy season months are in March, April, May, June, November and December. Wet weather and rainfall can make your climb pretty difficult.
