Travel Dates: 22-26 JULY 2023
Mount Fuji, a sight to behold. A mountain so grand, so bold. A symbol of Japan, so proud and true.
A climb to the summit, a feat to achieve. Hiking in Japan is an experience like no other, with a range of trails and mountains to explore. Mount Fuji, in particular, is one of the most popular destinations for hikers and climbers.
Climbing Mount Fuji is a challenging and rewarding experience. The climbing season is short, and runs from early July to mid-September, when the weather conditions are more stable. During this time, thousands of people climb the mountain every day via its four main trails. We aim to avoid the weekend crowd and enjoy a more peaceful climb during weekdays via the Fujinomiya Trail. The Fujinomiya Trail starts at the Fujinomiya Trail 5th Station and leads to the summit from the south side of Mt. Fuji in Shizuoka Prefecture (Fujinomiya City). We will do a 2-day climb which includes an overnight stay in the mountain hut, before summit & descent on the second day.
