Day 0 Singapore - Ashgabat
(Evening) Arrive at Dubai Airport, next flight to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
Day 1: Ashgabat-Kow Ata (Turkmenistan) - BLD
The day trip starts with a 340 km road journey to the Kow Ata underground lake from Ashgabat. Upon arrival in Ashgabat, guests transfer to their hotel before heading to Nohur in the Kopetdag Mountains, where they explore the village and its attractions. After lunch, the journey continues back to Ashgabat, with a stop at the Kow Ata underground lake for swimming. In the evening, a city night tour includes visits to Independence Park, Neutrality Arch, and Wedding Palace panoramic viewpoint. Kow Ata, also known as The Bakharlyn, is an underground lake located in a cave near Bäherden, Turkmenistan, beneath the Kopet Dag mountain range. The lake is accessible via a long, illuminated staircase.

Day 2: Ashgabat-Darvaza Gas Crater (Turkmenistan) - BLD
A trip from Ashgabat to the Darvaza gas crater, a round trip of 600 km by road, includes a half-day introductory tour of Ahalteke horse stables, the National Museum, Nisa (UNESCO site), and the Turkmenbashi mosque-mausoleum. After lunch, the journey continues to the Darvaza gas crater, passing mud and water craters along the way. Arriving before sunset, visitors dine near the burning gas crater and explore it by day and night. The crater, also known as the Door to Hell, has been burning since the 1980s and is illuminated by natural gas fires. It is located near the village of Darvaza in the Karakum Desert, about 260 kilometers north of Ashgabat, with a diameter of 60-70 meters and a depth of about 30 meters.
Day 3: Ashgabat-Mary-Bukhara (Turkmenistan/Uzbekistan) - BLD
Mary - Merv ancient city - "Farap" land border - Bukhara by road (385 km). Morning flight. Upon arrival, transfer to visit the ancient city of Merv, which is also included into the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. Transfer to the land border with Uzbekistan and to Bukhara.
Merv, also called Merve Oasis, was a prominent Turkmen city along the Silk Road in Central Asia, near present-day Mary, Turkmenistan. Bukhara sightseeing tour: Ismail Samani Mausoleum, Chashma Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo Khauz Mosque, Ark Citadel, Po-i-Kalyan Complex (including Kalyan Minaret), Ulugbek Madrasah, Abdulaziz-Khan Madrasah. Post-lunch, explore Lyab-i Hauz Architectural Ensemble, Kukeldash Madrasah, Nadir Divan-Begi Madrasah, and the domed shopping arcade.
Bukhara, Uzbekistan's seventh-largest city, with a population of 280,187 as of 2020, is the capital of Bukhara Region. The predominant language is the Tajik dialect of Persian, with Uzbek spoken widely as a second language. Inhabited for over five millennia, Bukhara thrives as a pivotal point on the Silk Road, fostering trade, scholarship, culture, and religion. Day 5: Bukhara- Sitorai-Khosa-Samarkand (Uzbekistan) - BLD
Sightseeing in Bukhara. Today, we will visit the out-of-town sites, located in 20 min driving from Bukhara - Sitorai-Khosa, the summer residence of the last Emir of Bukhara and Nakshbandi historical ensemble. Transfer from Bukhara to Samarkand by high-speed train.
Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, also known as the "Palace Like the Stars and the Moon," served as the country residence of the Emir of Bukhara from the late 19th to the early 20th century. It now functions as a museum showcasing decorative and applied arts. The palace, consisting of old and new sections, saw additions during the reign of Emir Said Abd al-Ahad Khan and was completed during the rule of the last Emir of Bukhara, Sayyid Mir Muhammad Alim Khan. Constructed by renowned craftsmen and engineers of the time, it boasts both European and Eastern architectural influences.

Day 7: Samarkand-“Jartepa” land border-Seven Lakes-Penjikent by road (100 km) (Uzbekistan/Tajikistan) - BLD
The Fan Mountains of Tajikistan are home to the “Seven Lakes”, seven stunning lakes of different shades of blue, green, turquoise, and purple. The Seven Lakes of Tajikistan were formed in an earthquake that collapsed the mountain walls on top of the river in the valley forming natural dams and therefore lakes. Each of the seven lakes are different in size, depth and color and rural villages are located along the chain of lakes. We will hike from the 6th to 7th lake.
In Penjikent, explore the Rudaki Museum, local bazaar, and mosque, and delve into the ancient city's rich history as a former Sogdian hub destroyed by Arab conquest.

Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan. Visit Minor white Mosque, Independence Square, Amir Timur Square and Tashkent metro.
Tashkent, the capital and largest city of Uzbekistan, is located in the northeast close to Kazakhstan. It was initially influenced by Sogdian and Turkic cultures, and experienced prosperity after being rebuilt following the destruction caused by Genghis Khan in 1219. The city greatly benefited from the Silk Road. In 1865, Tashkent came under Russian control and became the capital of Russian Turkestan. The demographics and infrastructure of the city were reshaped due to deportations during the Soviet era and an earthquake in 1966. Today, as the capital of independent Uzbekistan, Tashkent remains a diverse city with a predominantly Uzbek population.

Day 9: Tashkent-Kokand by train (4 hours)-Rishtan-"Dustlik" land border-Osh by road (195 km) (Uzbekistan/Kyrgyzstan) - BLD
Transfer by train from Tashkent to Kokand, an ancient city in Fergana valley. Take a city tour and visit the Khudayar Khan Palace and Juma Mosque. Travel to Rishtan, have lunch at a guesthouse, and observe pottery making. Continue the journey to Osh, Kyrgyzstan, and enjoy an evening sightseeing tour upon arrival.
Kokand is located in eastern Uzbekistan, in the Fergana Region. It is known as the "City of Winds" and has a rich history. Day 10: Osh-Bishkek by morning flight (Kyrgyzstan) - BLD
Visit Ala-Archa National park and have a 30 min hike. Visit the main sights of Bishkek: the Central Ala-Too Square, flagstaff (and changing of the guard), Statue of Lenin and Freedom Monument, Monument to Manas the Great.
The Ala-Archa Nature Park, nestled in the Tian Shan mountains of Kyrgyzstan, lies just 35 km south of the capital city, Bishkek. Established in 1976, it spans 16,485 hectares.
Bishkek, the capital and largest city of Kyrgyzstan, is situated near the Kazakhstan border. Characterized by wide boulevards, marble-faced public buildings, and Soviet-style apartment blocks, Bishkek also features numerous privately built houses.

Drive to the second largest alpine lake in the world - Issyk-Kul Lake. On the way, visit the ruins of the ancient city Balasagyn and Burana tower. Optional horse riding at the lake.
The Burana Tower is a tall minaret in northern Kyrgyzstan, near the town of Tokmok. It's the only remaining structure from the ancient city of Balasagun. The tower was built in the 11th century and served as a model for other minarets. Visitors can climb to the top using an external and internal staircase. It's one of the oldest buildings in Central Asia.
Issyk-Kul is a salty lake in eastern Kyrgyzstan, next to Kazakhstan. It's the seventh-deepest and third-largest saline lake in the world. Despite its high elevation and cold winters, it rarely freezes due to its salt content.

Optional boat cruise at the lake. Transfer to Karakol along the Eastern shore of Issyk-Kul. En route, visit the museum of Petroglyph’s in Cholpon-Ata and museum of the famous Russian explorer of Central Asia N.M. Prjevalsky.
City tour in Karakol and visit a Dungan mosque (19century), a unique construction built in Chinese style with no nails used. Also, see the wooden Russian Orthodox Cathedral of The Holy Trinity built at the end of the 19th century. Walk around the central bazaar to feel the real life of the city. Transfer to Jeti-Oguz Gorge on the northern slopes of the Terskey Ala-Too Ridge, viewing red rocks "Broken Heart" and "Rocks of Seven Bulls". Huge dark green woods spread over red sandstone mountain slopes and create an incredible color contrast. 40 min hike to explore the area. Return to Karakol.

Day 13: Karakol-"Kegen" land border-Charyn Canyon-Almaty by road (380 km) (Kyrgyzstan/Kazakhstan) - BLD
Transfer to Almaty, Kazakhstan. En route, visit the spectacular the Charyn Canyon. The Charyn Canyon is located in the Charyn National Park about 215 km east of Almaty and approximately a 3 hours drive.
The Charyn Canyon has been described as the Grand Canyon’s little brother. The Canyon itself is approximately 150 km long, and, in places up to 300 meters deep. One area of particular interest is an area of 2 km called the Valley of Castles, due to the pillars and rock formations forming imposing almost man-made structures. Arrive in Almaty, Kazakhstan in the evening.
Transfer to Almaty, Kazakhstan. En route, visit the spectacular the Charyn Canyon. The Charyn Canyon is located in the Charyn National Park about 215 km east of Almaty and approximately a 3 hours drive.

Next visit of the Kok-Tobe hill with the tallest TV tower in the world. Short ride from the top of the hill to the center of the city by the famous Almaty cableway. Transfer to a “Sunkar” farm and watch the hunting eagles show.

2. Insurance
From 15 July 2015, a travel agent is required to inform and ask attending participants if it is their wish to purchase travel insurance that includes coverage for business insolvency of travel agencies when:
– they are buying a leisure travel product/package; or
– their travel product/package costs at least S$1,000 (including GST) per person; or
– they are paying a deposit or payment of at least S$500 per person.
Travelling to Turkmenistan
Travellers to Turkmenistan must present a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours before departure. Travellers are required to obtain a visa before travelling to Turkmenistan. Travellers are required to obtain a letter of invitation from a local travel agent before travelling to Turkmenistan.
Adventures Unlimited do not compromise on the standard services and the safety of our participants. In case of any emergency or advice from MFA, we will inform you to cancel your trip. However, the current situation is in favor for tourism, and there is peace and stability in the country.
